Faith Formation for All

Faith formation at Saint Paul looks a little bit different with most classes gathering virtually, via Zoom. No matter how or where we meet, our fall classes are designed around our core belief that All Are Sacred and our mission to Share God’s Love for All.

Featured Classes

American Elections: How Democratic?

Tuesdays at 7:00 pm.
As if this year could not get any more eventful, we have a momentous election, fast approaching, on November 3. In light of this, Saint Paul is offering a seminar on various aspects of the American electoral system throughout September and October.

White Privilege: Let's Talk

As part of Saint Paul’s response to the continuing, unjust racial inequity in our country, we are offering multiple, 6-week studies on white privilege this Fall. These studies will bring a new, or greater, awareness of how simply being white leads to certain assumptions and privileges that people of color do not enjoy. As part of this, we will open up safe spaces for discussion, personal reflection, and, ultimately, repentance, leading to ways participants can become greater allies for racial justice, as well as spiritual healing for our communities.

Bible Study: The Book of Exodus

Mondays beginning
Sept. 14th at 6:30 p.m.

Join Pastor Jed as we study some of the most famous stories and teachings in the Bible. We’ll look at Moses, the beginnings of the Israelite people, God’s deliverance from slavery in Egypt, the first Passover, and the giving of the 10 commandments in the wilderness, among others.

Finding Peace in an Anxious World

Wednesdays beginning
Sept. 30th at 6:30 p.m.

Given what’s been happening around the world in 2020, authentic peace may seem like a fantasy; and yet, we in the church have access to the “peace of God, which surpasses all understanding” (Philippians 4:7). This 4-week course will help recover some of that awesome peace, despite the circumstances, and live into a more fulfilling and hopeful present.
