Welcome! We’re glad you’re here. Discovery at Saint Paul, our children’s ministry, is a combination of music, meditation, Bible study, discussion, and activities to help children as they walk along their faith journey. Discovery welcomes all children ages 4 years through 5th grade!

Weekly Discovery Opportunities

Discovery Sunday School takes place after Sunday morning Worship from 11:00-11:45 a.m. in the 2nd-floor classrooms.

Wednesday night programming offers activities for all ages. The children are invited to participate In the all-church fellowship meal (5:00-6:00 p.m.) and then join us for Wednesday night Discovery (6:00-6:45 p.m.). Choir practice also takes place on Wednesday evenings (7:00-9:00 p.m.).

Childcare is available during all weekly events.

Over 300 children and their families walked through Saint Paul’s garage for candy, popcorn, a movie and lots of Halloween fun!

What a fun week we had at our Food Truck Party VBS! We enjoyed dancing, singing, crafting, playing, eating and learning about God through Bible stories involving food. We even celebrated our last day of VBS with our own Food Truck Party featuring the Kona Ice truck!

Discovery hosted a Christmas Art Workshop at the beginning of the Advent season. Guest artist, Karey Koehn, led us step-by-step through a Christmas painting. At the end, each child had a canvas to take home and display for the holidays.

Saint Paul hosted its annual Trunk-or-Treat event to provide a fun and safe alternative to traditional door to door trick-or-treating. There were about 20 decorated cars with candy, games, and activities. Lincoln families were invited to walk through the garage and stay for a kid-friendly Halloween movie! Nearly 500 children attended this event.

We had a fantastic week at Vacation Bible School in June! We had so much fun singing, dancing, learning, laughing, crafting, playing, eating, and enjoying our time together. The children heard 5 important parables from Jesus and discussed how they are relevant today

We discovered what’s needed in a garden.

Once a week there were science experiments, crafts, stories & scripture, snacks and games in the church gym and a special video presentation that took place in a classroom inside Saint Paul UMC.
