Boy Scouts Troop 12

Boy Scouts Troop 12

Troop 12 was chartered in October 1911 and has continuously renewed its charter with the Boy Scouts of America every year since then. Saint Paul United Methodist has been the troop’s chartering organization during that entire time. Our 100th anniversary celebration will be held Sunday, November 6, 2011 at the church.

Our Troop and Patrol Leader Council (PLC) meetings are held on Mondays during the school year from 7:00 - 8:30 pm at Saint Paul, 1144 M St. You are invited to visit any of our meetings to learn more about Boy Scouts and our Troop. Enter the church's parking garage off 11th street (one-way going south) between N & M Streets. Meetings are held in the basement dining room which is on the same level as the garage

Troop 12 has approximately 35 active registered Scouts as of April, 2011. Troop 12 welcomes any interested boy of Scout age (11 years old, completed the 5th grade OR earned the Arrow of Light, whichever occurs first). A boy does not have to graduate from Cub Scouts or Webelos to become a Boy Scout.
